Quinnipiac Hosting William Creeley from F.I.R.E.

Quinnipiac YAL Wins Third Place!

Campus Reform offered a $1,000 grant for the best Constitution Day activism on a college campus for Constitution Day, 2009. The contest successfully encouraged college student groups to take part in Constitution Day activism supported by a U.S. mandate that all federally-funded schools offer a Constitution Day educational program.

"Free Food NOT Free Speech..."

is what one sign read today during Quinnipiac's Constitution Day event.  The Young Americans for Liberty and Media Students collaborated on campus today for the "First Amendment Free Food Festival". 

Hundreds of students piled into the campus's Alumni Hall to sign away their first amendment rights for a free lunch.  The event represented how we our giving our freedoms away every day in order to salvage "security" from our nation's leaders and laws.
